1. Who is responsible

SonicApp LTD is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any question or request about your data, write to support@sonicapp.dev.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to this website only. Our apps are still in development. When one is released it will have its own privacy policy, written for what that app actually collects, and that policy — not this one — will govern it.

3. What we collect on this site

Very little. This is a brochure site, not a service you log into.

• Nothing when you simply read it. We set no advertising or analytics cookies, we do not profile visitors, and we do not track you across other sites.
• What you send us. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. That is the only personal data this site leads to.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.

We do not sell personal data, and we never will.

4. Why we may process it

• Legitimate interests — replying to a message you sent us, and keeping the site available and secure.
• Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose something by law.

5. Who else sees it

Our hosting and email providers, in the course of delivering this site and our mail. They act on our instructions under their own terms. We may also disclose data where the law requires it or to establish or defend a legal claim.

6. How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with the matter and for up to two years afterwards. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security purposes.

7. Where it is processed

Some providers operate outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we rely on UK adequacy regulations, or on the International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum.

8. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or erase it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. Write to support@sonicapp.dev and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

9. Children

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their personal data through it.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and anything you send us is encrypted in transit. Access to our mail is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes

We will update this policy as the company changes, and the date at the top of this page will change with it.
