Refund Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for purchases and subscriptions from SonicApp LTD. It sits alongside your statutory rights under UK consumer law, which it does not limit.
1. Where you bought matters
Who processes your refund depends on where the purchase was made. Check your receipt if you are not sure.
- App Store: Apple handles all billing and refunds. Request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves.
- Google Play: Google handles billing and refunds. Request one through your Google Play order history. Within the first 48 hours Google can usually refund automatically.
- Directly from our website: we process the refund ourselves — see below.
2. Refunds on direct purchases
- 14-day cancellation right: as a UK or EU consumer you may cancel a purchase within 14 days of buying it. Where you asked us to start the service immediately, we may deduct a proportionate amount for what you have already used.
- Accidental or duplicate charges: refunded in full. Contact us and we will correct it.
- Service failure: if a paid feature did not work as described and we could not fix it, we refund the affected period.
3. How to request a refund
Email support@sonicapp.dev with the email address used for the purchase, the date and amount of the charge, and the last four digits of the card. See the Cancel Subscription page for the full checklist.
4. Timing
We review refund requests within two business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, the money typically appears within 5–10 business days. If it has not arrived after 10 business days, contact us and we will follow it up.
5. Cancelling future renewals
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals; it does not by itself refund a charge already taken. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. See Cancel Subscription for the steps.
6. What we cannot refund
- Periods you have already used in full, outside the 14-day cancellation window.
- Purchases made through Apple or Google — those must go through them.
- Accounts terminated for breaching our Terms of Service.
